Say, Ruth, did you catch the headline? Seems some Malaysian students are trying to break the Guinness record for “most people in a car” — 21, if the story is correct.
Tried to comment on the post below but couldn’t. Try this (you’ve probably heard of this somewhere before…):
Ask yourself, “Who is this God that I say I believe in?” Then, read the Psalms. As you read, take a pencil and shade all that it says about God, “the LORD”, etc. Every reference to who God is and what He does or has done.
Then meditate on these references. Let these meditations shape your thinking of Who God is, and then let that understanding of Who God is shape your view of yourself.
You don’t have to expect things to change overnight. Just enjoy these reflections and let them shape your relationship with God.
You might want to keep a journal on these thoughts. Hey, here’s an idea! Why not journal your meditations through the Psalms right here? Perhaps we can all share in your journey!
